Technical Support Specialist - Tulsa, OK

We are looking for an Technical Solutions Specialist for our Tulsa, OK office.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Technical Solutions Specialist team. At ECAD, we pride ourselves on delivering the absolute best customer experience. As a Technical Solutions Specialist, you will act as a trusted advisor to our clients by assisting in the resolution of technical issues and helping incorporate proven solutions into their workflows, to achieve their business goals.

This position will primarily support ECAD’s Autodesk customer accounts in the Tulsa, OK area. Autodesk is the industry leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software. This position will manage accounts in the mechanical design, civil design and architectural design industries.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to...
  • Provide Customer Support (email, phone, in-person, WebEx), as it pertains to technical, functionality and data issues
  • Provide training (live and online) for various ECAD solutions
  • Manage requests and act as liaison with internal stakeholders (Corporate, Sales and Support)
  • Continually innovate and iterate on processes to maximize customer workflow efficiency
  • Assist with maintaining the Support Desk’s documentation to ensure the team is running productively
  • Provide pre-sales demonstrations for prospective customers
  • Provide in-house and on-site consulting services for customers
Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of Windows Operating System
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – both verbal and written
  • Effective analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail
  • Team player, adaptable and able to spot where help is required. Can deliver help, coaching and training to other team members nationally
  • Ability to use own initiative to solve problems: ability to turn quality work around in quick timescales and is able to discern the need for urgency from unnecessary rush
  • Love to help / Go the extra mile: We need someone who feels as passionate as us about what we do, and what we offer
  • Comfortable with public speaking (training and product demonstrations)
  • Enthusiastic about technology
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Empathy and ability to understand customer needs
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and Excel a plus
  • Familiarity with Computer Aided Design software a plus
  • Previous experience in mechanical, civil, architectural or plant design a plus
  • This is a partial work from home position, so a suitable home work environment is a must (dedicated space, reliable internet etc)
  • Ability to travel
